Rotary MK Swimathon 2022

It was great for our fundraisers to be back in the pool at the Rotary MK Swimathon after the event was cancelled for two years due to Covid-19. Around 50 teams took part in the relay style event to raise money for seven local Milton Keynes charities including The Bus Shelter MK.

We had two teams of six entered and were delighted that two of our guests asked to join the volunteers in the pool. Towards the end of our 55 minute swim time the atmosphere between the two teams became very competitive as they fought hard to try and swim the biggest total of lengths. By the end they achieved an incredible combined total of just under 5 miles.
