Volunteers are a big part of The Bus Shelter MK and are essential in helping to deliver our vital services.

We have three types of volunteer, each with varying levels of time, commitment and skills needed.

Support Team Assistants are our most involved volunteers. They are part of our operations team and work directly with our guests, playing an important role in assisting with the running of the Shelter. You’ll need to be able to offer a minimum of six hours a week for this role.

Cooking Volunteers cook meals at home and deliver them to site each night for the guests. You can volunteer to do this from one night a month or more if you are able.

Gardening Volunteers help keep our wonderful site looking amazing – this is a very flexible role and you can do as much or as little as you like.
